It was a great experience to work alongside Annaliese Burgess from Country Cooking Magazine to shoot and style the front cover and 8-page spread for Nieu-Bethesda. Carla & Ludolf Smit from The Bethesda was featured and shared their cooking skills and recipes.

In late 2019 a group of Nieu-Bethesda residents and business owners, alongside friends of Bethesda came together to brainstorm the resurrection of the Nieu-Bethesda Community Organisation. Covid made us realise that we have to upgrade our online presence and so we developed a corporate ID, website and social media platforms to promote our members.

Under new ownership Eagle Hout Padstal in Bedford decided to re-name and re-brand their business to “De Oude Fabreeck“. We developed a corporate identity which included logo design, letterhead, business card, shop front signage, product stickers and a menu. Having worked with interior designer Jacques Muller on numerous occasions before, this was a great project to be part of!

One of our photographs has recently been used on the front cover of a book. We met Anneli Bronkhorst and Bert Dijkstra a few years ago on a Dutch Foodies Tour through the Karoo. In partnership with the well established brand Kamers Makers, Albert van Schalkwyk & Fulvio de Stafanis wanted to create a Karoo artisanal market in Nieu-Bethesda in 2021. The event was held on their property “Oude Pastorie“. We assisted with proposal design and brand development to create a unique logo that combines the work of Nieu-Bethesda’s most well-known artist, the late Helen Martins of the Owl House.

“Slice of Light” was produced for SABC 2 – Issues of Faith. Sarina Engelbrecht assisted in the production of this 13-episode series as Director of Photography and Camera Operator whilst filming in the Eastern Cape.

“Kniediep in die Warm Water” is a 13-episode comedy-drama series produced for SABC 2.  Sarina Engelbrecht took on the role of camera operator and DOP Trainee under the acclaimed DOP Dirk Mostert.
