But sometimes something catches your attention.

An animal appears at an unexpected moment.
A familiar feeling arrives without explanation.
A loved one seems suddenly close.

I believe spirituality can be both mysterious and grounded – a space where intuition, symbolism, personal experience and spiritual possibility can coexist.

Nature has always been one of the ways I understand the world.
A bird appearing at exactly the right moment.
An animal crossing your path repeatedly.
A particular creature appearing in your dreams.
A feather, shell, tree or unexpected encounter that suddenly feels significant.
I don’t believe we need to turn every natural encounter into a supernatural message.
But I do believe we can pay attention.
What was the animal doing?
Why did you notice it?
What do you personally associate with it?
Has it appeared in your dreams?
And why might this encounter feel meaningful now?
This is the beginning of exploring animal symbolism and nature as a language of the unseen.

I’m Sarina Engelbrecht – a photographer, visual artist, psychic medium and dream interpreter based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
I’ve always been drawn to what exists beneath the surface.
My creative work has taught me to look closely.
My spiritual work has taught me to listen differently.
And my relationship with dreams, nature and animals has taught me that not everything meaningful arrives in words.
I see myself as a translator.

History
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and the unspoken language of animals. My journey has taken me through many landscapes, both inner and outer. I spent over 10 years living in the vast and beautiful Karoo, where silence, wide skies, and desert animals became my teachers. Today, I live close to the ocean in South Africa, where the tides, birds, and wild coastline continue to inspire my work.
With a BA in Psychology and years of experience as an entrepreneur, I bring a grounded, practical approach to mystical work. I believe that everyone has intuitive abilities – it is part of being human. My role is not to “do the magic” for you, but to guide you in remembering your own connection with life, nature, and your inner wisdom.
My Story
I’ve been energetically sensitive since childhood, hearing and seeing things beyond the ordinary through my natural abilities. Growing up in a Dutch Reformed Christian home in South Africa, my gifts were often misunderstood, and I faced much confusion, leading me to suppress them for many years. However, after the passing of my father in 2012, my abilities intensified, affecting me on a physical level and sparking a deep journey of self-discovery. I took a sabbatical to learn how these gifts work and how they can be used to help others.
I’ve recently relocated to a coastal town in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, where the ocean is calling me with a new challenge to work with the element of water – a force deeply connected to psychic abilities. I look forward to delving into the ocean’s deep wisdom and its creatures to share their messages. Nature and animals continue to anchor me, offering energy to ground and clear, while also arriving as symbols guiding me. Combining my love for psychology, human behavior, and spirituality, I now provide guidance for those seeking clarity on their own journeys.
I am a professional photographer and the founder of Art Muse Collective, an organisation built on the belief in the transformative power of creativity. Through carefully designed art retreats, workshops, and creative escapes, I aim to create spaces where individuals can connect deeply with their inner selves and find inspiration through artistic expression.
Nature & Animals play a Big Role
Throughout history, animals and nature have played vital roles in guiding mankind, serving as symbols, messengers, and sources of wisdom. Ancient cultures recognised the interconnectedness of all life, often viewing the natural world as a reflection of the divine. The concept of Anima Mundi – the “world soul” – emerged from this understanding, suggesting that all living things are part of a greater, unified consciousness. Indigenous traditions revered animals as spirit guides, offering lessons and insight into human challenges. Nature itself, with its rhythms and cycles, has always been seen as a teacher, helping humanity align with the natural flow of the universe. Through this deep bond, people have sought clarity, healing, and connection to the spiritual world, guided by the ever-present wisdom of the Earth and its creatures.
