Creative Business
Build a business without losing the creative part of yourself.
Creative people often have plenty of ideas.
The challenge isn’t always knowing what to create.
It’s knowing what to do with all those ideas.
How do you turn your skills into an offer?
How do you explain what you do?
How do you price it?
Who is actually going to buy it?
How do you build a brand without becoming a marketing machine?
And how do you create a business that supports your creativity rather than consuming it?
I've been figuring it out for a long time.
I’ve spent more than 17 years moving between creativity and commerce.
I’ve built businesses, developed brands, worked across photography, digital marketing, tourism and creative experiences, and learned – sometimes the hard way – what happens when an idea meets the real world.
I now work with creative entrepreneurs who want to turn what they know, make and care about into something commercially sustainable.
Not by squeezing themselves into conventional business models.
By finding the model that makes sense for them.
Creative Ventures
My approach to creative business is shaped by experience – not just theory. Over the years, I’ve built and developed businesses across photography, tourism, creative retreats and digital media. Art Muse Collective brings together creativity, nature and meaningful experiences through artist-led retreats and workshops, while Sarina Engelbrecht Photography grew from a long-standing visual practice into a professional photography business serving individuals, brands and businesses. These ventures are part of the broader body of work that informs how I think about creative businesses, branding, communication and turning ideas into something tangible.
